So, you’ve taken the first step and decided to book a boudoir session with me. Your retainer fee has been paid, your date picked, and you are overly excited for your photo shoot. But, then you realize: you don’t know what to wear for your session. The fantastic news is that I’ve already completed this activity for you and am available to offer wardrobe assistance. It’s always fun to help my clients organize and harmonize their outfits. Whether your preference is to share photos of your wardrobe, or video chat to show your clothing selection, or simply seek advice on what to wear, I am here to assist. With that being said, please note that I am not a professional stylist nor am I a sizing expert. If not sure what your bra or panty size is or which piece of lingerie best suits the shape of your body, I highly recommend stopping by a local lingerie shop. The staff there are professionally trained to properly fit and guide you to the best pieces for your needs. If a shop is conveniently located near you, no need to panic. So now that your mind is at ease, let’s begin figuring out what YOU are going to wear!

In no particular order, these are a few items I highly recommend to consider wearing to your boudoir session:

  1. Bodysuit or Teddy
  2. Thong
  3. Lingerie Dress
  4. Robe
  5. Corset & Garter Belts
  6. Silk Slips
  7. Button-down Shirt
  8. Sports Jersey of Favorite Team
  9. Thigh-high stockings
  10. Accessories

Not only do I recommend these items, but also certain colors and materials as well:

  1. Lace, satin, and chiffon materials
  2. Nudes, ivory, black, reds, blue, and bright colors

A bodysuit is a must have for any boudoir session (outdoor or indoor). Not only are bodysuits super flattering but they also allow modesty and sexiness at the same time. For that extra spice of sexy, you can pair with some thigh-high or fishnet stockings. If wanting to be more modest, consider mesh styled bodysuits and teddys with long sleeves. Bodysuits are very easy to find, come in various styles, colors, and material, and are a nice complement to every wardrobe.

Always bring a thong. Whether its a luxurious thong, a thong bodysuit, or part of a two piece set, just bring one. Every woman wants that amazing booty shot and a thong is that complimentary piece for the shot. A thong is perfect for those seeking modesty while walking the crossroads of subtlety and sexiness.

Sometimes the most simplest of clothing selections produce the most amazing results. Every woman owns a favorite coat or blazer, why not use it as a focal piece in your session.

At some point in our lives while watching a nice romantic movie, we've all came across “the” scene where the lovely lady wakes up, slips into her man's button-down shirt, and proceeds to drink coffee while looking comfortable and cute as ever. So why not recreate that same subtle look of sexiness. You got the goods, just bring the shirt and I’ll do the rest!

Modesty has always been considered a virtue. Whether you’re wanting modesty for your session….or not, there are silk and satin items such as slips, dresses, and over-sized sweaters that provide a subtle softness to your portraits. When choosing your item, consider thigh-length or shorter with slits or cutouts. If choosing a robe for your session, I highly recommend a lace or sheer one that allows transparency and will not conceal your body completely. Sheer robes are the perfect item to create multiple looks regardless of your comfort level.

Outside of my smartwatch and wedding ring, I rarely ever wear accessories in my daily life and routines. However, when it comes to boudoir and nude sessions, accessories really bring images to the next level. Accessories are the key ingredients to the many possibilities. Below is a list of my personal favorite accessories from Amazon:

  • Harnesses
  • Body Jewelry
  • Necklaces and Chokers
  • Lace Gloves
  • Heels
  • Masquerade Mask
  • Jackets (leather, fur, vintage)
  • Sentimental Items (favorite shirt, sports team jersey, kink item, or wedding lingerie)
  • Flowers
  • Oversized Hat

If you’re not one for lace, satin, or softness, that is totally cool. Embrace what makes you feel sexiest. One item that is outside the normal lingerie choice selection is the Harness. Harnesses has an appeal that is unlike any other. They are sexy, edgy, and more provocative that most clothing selections but the results are simply AMAZING! The straps offer visual lines leading all over the body and mesmerizes the viewer. If you’re looking to try something new and different, this is definitely a clothing option to consider.

Sooooo, if you’re cool with strippin’ it down, then body jewelry is a GREAT accessory to dress yourself with. This style of jewelry complements the body and draws attention to your features. Body jewelry comes in many styles and color selections that will fit your style, personality and body. If up for a nice compliment to nude sessions, this is a GREAT start.

This is something that we all rock EVERY day, so why not do so in front of the lens and embrace your beautiful body. Embracing who you are inside and out is celebrating your curves, your non-curves, your laugh lines and scars, your smooth complexion, your BODY!!!

If you’re tatted up? Bare it all and lets show off and showcase your ink!
